I had the fortune to be part of the team that designed the Global Rebrand for American Airlines.
A huge and intense rebranding program lasted 2 years. My role as Design Director has been helping the Creative Director to establish the brand fundamentals and the design system for the main cabin and more in detail, designing the graphic system for the whole Flagship and Premium experience. Defining the brand hierarchy, photographic and typography styles, a graphic system for the onboard experience, signage design for the airports, (Orlando, Boston, and Phoenix airports and for the DFW pilot opening) and the JFK Flagship Lounge.
